Camping with mom and dad

The first of July we went camping with mom and dad and the family that lives around here. We went up to Henrey's Lake kind of where we were last year. Because it was a little cool outside and rained most of the time we had to collect a ton of fire wood. All of the kids pitched in and helped out. As you can see we ended up with plenty of wood. The only problem we had was that no one brought anything to chop the wood. Dad, Alex and Sonny had to figure out other ways to chop the wood. It was pretty fun watching them.

More 4th of July

Charity and Sydney After the parade we went out to Menan. Sonny played in a couple of baseball games and teh kids were able to be with their cousins. Mom and dad came up to Menan to join us for the fireworks. We had a ton of fun, but after having the whole family with us last year really made me miss you guys this year. I hope we are able to spend the holiday together again soon.

4th of July

Whitney, Andria and Sam getting ready for the parade. This year Sydney and Whitney were in the 4th of July parade with the Elite Allstar team they are in. They had so much fun. Sydney was pretty excitted to think that she was able to ride on the float. I think Whitney just wanted to be able to squirt people with water and not get in trouble.

Fun Pictures

I took the kids to Sam's Club one day to have these pictures taken. When I first signed up I was going to only do the free one, but then we got there and the kids were all dressed up and I knew I would end up buying all of them. I could not believe how cute they were. The clothes are perfect for each of them. It is a little scary to see how grown up the girls look.

Camping at Lake Walcott

Climbing in the tree

While we were in Menan one day Jayden and Sydney got to help grandpa put up a new swing. They got to climb up as high as they could on the ladder. It was pretty scary for me, but they were brave.

A night with the Burgie family

Jayden attempting to take Jonah down. J Jonah trying to dump the kids off the tramp Seth drinking Beer. Actually we went ou to Menan for a BBQ while Seth was visiting. When we arrived there the house smelted like a brewery and Seth was holding a beer can. He was boiling Brats in beer and then you BBQ them. I heard they were good, but I did not try them myself. While we were in Menan we had a fire and roasted marshmellows. Jayden is pretty serious about it. I taught him the skills of making the marshmellow a perfect golden brown. Yummy!

Sydney playing baseball

She does not have as much fun standing next to the base. I think she would rather be in the outfield so that she could practice her cartwheels. Sonny taught her the get ready for the ball stand. I think she pulls the look off well. This summer I am coaching Sydney's baseball team. I think it helps me to learn patients. It has been fun and Sydney has a great time. She likes to do cartwheels while she is in the outfield so now we try to keep her closer to a base.

Jaydens Games

Jayden getting ready to steal a base. Mom and dad at Jaydens game. They made sure that at least one of them were at everyone of Jaydens games. It was so great of them to come and show their support to him. I know it meant a lot to Jaden and to me as well. This is Jaydens best friend Jalen. They have played on the same baseball team for 5 years now.
Jayden pitching Jayden played baseball again this summer. He has really grown to love the game. He learned a lot this year and he was able to pitch a few games. His team took 2nd in the championship games. It was a ton of fun to go to the games and watch him gain more confidence at each game. I am so proud of him for working so hard.

Learning to golf

Whitney was very focused on the ball. She has a great swing as well. I think her hair adds to her pretty swing. This summer we enrolled each of the kids in golf leassons. They went to the course 3 days and then on the 4th day they had a short competion. All of the kids did very well. I think they are learning to love golf.

Burgie family get together
