Winter in Idaho

The weather here has been as crazy as ever. For about a week we were well below zero. This week we have had snow and it has been so WINDY(yes Sara Windy.)We have been bringing the dogs into the garage as much as possible, but as you can tell it does not seem to bother Kusko to much to be out in the Windy storm.

Happy Birthday to the Burgies

Today we celebrated Jeff and Chelsie's birthday. We were going to do it last week, but a couple people were sick. We got together and had dinner and cake and ice cream. It has been a little bit since we were able to be together so it was really nice.

Chelsie turned 17 on Monday. It scares me to think how fast it has gone by. I am so blessed to have Chlesie in my life. She is my friend and my daughter. We have a great time hanging out together, shopping, eating or just watching TV. I love that we are close enough that she can talk to me about her problems, her friends, boys or whatever might be on her mind. On her birthday we started the day out with breakfast in bed. After that her and Whit and I went shopping for the day and went to Olive Garden for lunch. We had so much fun just being girls. I could not think of a better way to spend my day.

So it has been so very cold here. My kiddies actually got a cold day from school. It was -33 on Tuesday so they called school. However the next 2 days only got to -24 so they have had to go to school. Jayden pulled this chunk of ice out of our rain gutter. He wanted to save it for Grandpa to see, but since that would not work we decided to just take a picture of it. He really liked how it looked on the inside.

Over the weekend Syd Jeanne had a cheer competion in Salt Lake. We went down Friday afternoon so that we could spend some time with Granny J. We are lucky that we have a place to stay when we have to travel and it is always so nice to visit with her. We took a few pictures, but they did not turn out very well. She has to perfomances this week and a competion in Pocatello next saturday so i will try to get a few more pictures or maybe a video clip.

Kind of Christmas pictures

So every year I take pictures of the kids all dressed up for church the Sunday before Christmas. Well this year it was a little busy the Sunday before Christmas so i did not get it done. The next Sunday was worse because we had to talk. Well this last Sunday we did not have church until 1:00 so I managed to take some pictures. just pretend they are Christmas ones.
