Easter morning

I love Easter morning before church. The kids all look so amazing and I always make sure to get pictures. It was nice not to have church until 1. It gave us a little more time to get ready and have some fun taking pictures. I wanted to take some outside, but since it was only like 7 degrees we passed on that. I think Jayden looks so gorgeous in his lavendar shirt. I was glad he liked it. I think he is going to be a ladies man he real soon.

Bows

Because I don't have enough on my plate i have started making bows. I love it. I have so much fun making them. Right now Syd has more bows then she has clothes to match them. It is just so fun creating different ones. Syd loves to wear them and she loves to help me make them. I might have to start selling them before the bows take over our house.

Easter fun

We froze to death this year for the Easter Egg hunt, but the kiddies still had a ton of fun. We went to the Menan Easter Egg hunt with the Dalling family and the Felde Family. Chelsie came to help out the Kim's kids. This is the last year for Jayden since he is now 11. There was still a bunch of snow on the ground and it was freezing cold. Cooper was not enjoying as much. he picked up a little candy and then said I am done. Chloe loved helping fill the other little kids baskets. It was really cute to see her. Saturday night we colored eggs as a family. chelsie and whitney were not very excited to color eggs this year, but once we started they had fun. I will miss it when they move away and won't be here to color eggs. Maybe I can bribe them to come back and do it. we will have to see. Until then I will enjoy every minute of it.

Syd Jeanne had her last cheer competition for the year. It was a state competition in Boise. They did really well. The team took 1st place. I think they were pretty happy with the win. I am happy the travel season is over at least for a couple of months. While we were at the competition they had a special needs team come out and perform. It was so neat. I am not sure if there were many dry eyes. It was so great to be able to see these girls get the chance to perform. after they were done their team recieved a team trophy. They will be part of the special olymic team in Boise next year.

So I have had a house full for the last couple of days. Mindy's 3 little kids came to visit us for Spring Break. It has gone pretty good. I am not used to having little one's around the house during the day, but it has been fun. The kids have really enjoyed having their cousins around. They don't get to see them that often. They have played a ton of xbox and luckily the weather has been somewhat nice so they have been able to go outside. Whitney has been awesome to the kids and a huge help to me. Of course the kids love Uncle Sonny and cling to him. He has enjoyed having them here and has been a huge help as well. I am glad that they have been able to spend some much needed time with him. He is an awesome Uncle and loves them very much.

Science Fair

Sydney's grade had a science fair this year. Each person had to make a science project and then demonstrate it for the class. It was pretty fun. A couple of weeks before it was due Jayden came home from school with a pretty cool experiment that he did in science. He made a VORTEX. So since he knew how to do it and since I did not master science we took his idea and with his help we made a VORTEX for Syd Jeanne. She loved every minute of it. She did most of the work herself. Sonny and Jayden helped her test it out several times to make sure it worked. She was pretty poud of the final results. Dad would be happy that we used duck tape to hold it together. While we were over at the science fair someone walking through saw it and said I have seen several of those and this is the only one that I have seen that actually works. It made Syd smile pretty big.

California Pictures

OK so it is year later and I finally decided it had better get these on the blog. I had all of the pictures on my old computer and then it died. It took us awhile to retieve all of them, but we did. Since the weather has just been so yucky for so long I thought it would be nice to share some sunshine. It really does make me wish we were there again. We had so much fun it really was hard to come back home.

Skylee's Baptism Day!

Yesterday Skylee Syd's cousin was baptised. It was a pretty special day for her. Syd Charity and Skylee are all about the same age. I wanted to get some pictures of all 3 of them at Syd's baptism, but since she was not feeling well we did not get very many. With Skylee being the last one to be baptized they all were able to wear their baptism dresses. It made me a little teary to see how beautiful they look. I think I will print a picture for them to keep in their bedrooms to help them remember this special day and what it means to them
Little miss Paisley decided she wanted to be one of the big girls as well.

3 Musketeers. These 3 are such good friends. Jay and Avery are cousins and just a few months apart in age. Jalen and Jayden have been friends since kindergarten. He is like my 2nd son. I love that Jayden has such great friends. We love have Jalen come out to visit us. I think it would just be better if they moved to little old Rigby.
