Our trip to Utah this last week was not under the best of circumstances, but we did find time to enjoy each other. It was the 1st time in 5 years that I was with all my brothers and sisters and all of the cousins were together. The only people missing from the family was my mom and dad. We did not have a ton of time, but we did want to get a few pictures so we did them ourselves. I have to say that it was so much easier than 5 years ago when all of the kids were so young. We just told them all to be good for just a few and it would be over with. While we were there 4 of the families stayed at Granny J's and we truely had an amazing time. It was great to see how we each pulled together to help out in such a difficult time. I think my parents would have been so proud of all of us. It makes me wish we could all be together all of the time. We did not have a bunch of time together but what we had was amazing. We had fun talking about old memories and seeing some family that we have not seen in awhile. I was talking to my Aunt and we were talking about how we were thinking that we needed to have a family reunion before it got too late. We never made it happen in time. This funeral brought every cousin together for the 1st time since we all started getting married. It was great to see everyone, but sad that this is what it took. Time goes by much to fast. I am so grateful for my loving family and for the amazing support they are to me. I am thankful to my parents for instilling in us the importance of family support and love. I could not have made it through this difficult time without the love and support of my wonderful family.

In Loving Memory
My Granny J passed away this morning. It has been such a sad day for all of us. My poor mom is so broken hearted right now. She was not able to be here to tell her mom good bye. She is serving the lord and I know she will be so blessed for doing this. My Granny was such an amazing women. She was so kind and loving. She made sure that each and every grandchild and great granchild received a card and money for there birthdays. She never missed out on anything that had to do with family. She was such a great example to me and my kids. We loved going to see Granny J and we will miss her so much. I know she is in a better place now and she is with her loved ones, but it is so sad for me to not have her here with us. This morning before she passed she became coherent for about 90 minutes. She was able to talk to each grandchild and tell them how much she loved them and to tell them all good bye. This was the greatest miracle ever. Heavenly Father blessed her with peace for this time to allow each of us to say our goodbyes. This is something that will stay with me forever. I am so grateful I was able to visit with her one last time. My mom is having such a hard time and my heart ahces for her so badly. I wish I could be there right now to put my arms around her and tell her how much I love her. I have included her email address. Feel free to send her a message letting her know that she is doing the lords work and she will be blessed for it. Diane Bringhurst grandmabring17@gmail.com Please keep her in your prayers.

We've got school spirit
Rigby had there 1st football game tonight and Whit and her friends were all about showing school spirit. Yes I made the TUTU I love it is so dang cute on her. It is a little weird because Chelsie is at the Hillcrest game and Whit is at the Rigby game. I can not wait until they play each other. I was talking to Whit about her new found school spirit and I was telling her how last year at this time she would rather die than show some sort of support to the Rigby Trojans. Now it is al about showing as much spirit for the school she has learned to love. I am glad she has had a change of heart. It has made the school so much better. She has made some great friends while she has been going to school here. I love them they are all so sweet. Besides who wouldn;t want to be a Rigby Trojan.

Something to make you laugh
I don't usually post conversations that I have with my kids but I have had a couple that have made me laugh so I thought I would share them. The other night the kids and I went to a Ward dinner. I had told the kids that they were roasting a pig for the dinner. Jayden asked if it was the whole pig. I said yes, but he acted weird for a bit. Once we got to the park I found out why he was acting weird. Jayden - So it is a whole pig Stacy - Yes He looks a little puzzled. Jayden - So you are telling me they are going to bring a pig here kill it and then cook it over a fire. Stacy - Are you serious you thought they would actually bring a pig here and just kill it here in front of us. Jayden - looks puzzled Syd Jeanne - do you think they stuff the apple in his mouth before they kill him? Stacy - Are you guys serious they would not bring a pig here and kill it in front of all of us. Come on guys. Chelsie - you never know we do live in Rigby. Ok so story #2. Last night I was lying in bed at 1:30 in the morning I heard some awful noises outside. I waited and they got much louder. So since Sonny is gone I was not sure what to do so I went downstairs and got Chelsie. Me - Chels. Chels are you awake Chelsie - no Me - Chels come here for a minute I need you. We go upstairs. Me- Do you here that noise? Chelsie - Yes they are Coyotes (we do have Coyotes around here) Me- Are you sure they are way loud they sound like cats Chelsie- No they are Coyotes Me- They sound like they are on the back porch are you sure they are Coyotes Chelsie- yes you need keep the cat and the dog in the house. She then proceeds to tell me that Buddy would not make it he is not as strong as Kusko and Kusko was all black and he would scare them away. Keep in mind it is 1:30 in the morning. Me- Wow ok well they just sound so loud and they sound a lot like cats. Chelsie - Did you look out the window? Me- Heck no I don't look out the window that is scary. Chelsie - hmmm she then opens the blinds and sees 2 cats on the porch fighting. Chelsie- Oh 2 cats, but there are also Coyotes out there. Me - Hmmm She then opens the door and the cats leave. Chelsie - the coyotes must have gone back to the field. Night I laid in bed for an hour and laughed so hard.

Carrots, Carter, and Cooper
Kim and the kids came over to help in the garden. We let the boys pick a carrot and Carter happened to pick the biggest carrot ever. We have to seperate kinds of carrots growing the short fat ones and the long skinny ones. Carter was so happy about his huge carrot that he insisted that I take a picture of it. He is so dang cute. I love him.

Jayden receives the Priesthood.
Sonny came home this last weekend and he ordained Jayden. Yes it was a much better weekend for us. I am so proud of Sonny for being able to give Jayden this amazing gift. I am so thankful that Jayden has the desire to receive the priesthood. It will be so nice to have the priesthood in the house while Sonny is away. I love the men in my life and I am so thankful for their example to me.

Spencers b-day
On Saturday we went to Kim's house to have a big party for Spencer. Oh the fun the kids had. It was never ending. Kris rented this giant water slide and the kids had so much fun. I am sorry I did not get the best pictures. The slide was in the sun. Sonny was home for the weekend so that made it even more fun.

Whitney and friend Hailey
Ok So I am a little behind with updating and I am not sure why. It is not like I have a ton to do during the days now that the kids are in school. But the kids went back to school last week. I got pictures as tradition of all of them, but Chelsie. She stayed the night in Idaho Falls so that she could tell her friend(wink, wink) good bye. Anyways I was looking at these before I posted them and I was shocked at how grown up my kids look. It is kind of scary to me. I am so blessed to have such beautiful amazing kids.

A weekend to remember????
Sonny was off this weekend so we thought it would be nice to meet him in Palisades and camo for the weekend this way he would not have to drive as far. It started off as a good plan. We got everything ready I checked the weather several times and it said a small chance of rain. I really should listen to Sonny when he says that the weather guys are never right. Anyways we left on Friday morning we wanted to get a good spot. the 1st place we went to was full so we went back to Calamity and found a spot there. We got there about 11:30 and got our site set up. We decided to run into Swan Valley for Ice Cream we did deserve it after setting up camp. We got back and decided to lay in the tent for a bit while it was still a little cool. About 30 minutes it started to rain. It was kind of fun and refreshing. About 2 hours later it was still raining and a little harder. It was not as much fun now. We had not planned to be stuck in a tent with all of us. Whit had a book and Chelsie and I were fighting over Breaking Dawn. I know I should have just bought 2 copies. We decided to run back to Swan Valley to see if maybe they had a couple of games we could get since it appeared the rain was not letting up. Sonny would not be meeting us until about 9 that night. Once we left guess what the rain got worse and now it was thundering and lighting like crazy. We got back to camp and Chelsie informed us "oh by the way the tent is leaking and not just a little" What the heck. So we go in the tent and holy loving it is leaking bad. I was not really sure what to do I have never fixed a tent before it was storming so hard outside. I call Sonny to see what he says to do. While I am talking to him Chel and Whit are fighting and arguing and telling me we need to go home, Jay is upset and wants to stay. He is saying let's just fix the tent mom, maybe we should say a prayer. Syd Jeanne is laying in her sleeping bag crying at the top of her lungs because she is scared to death of the lighting and thunder, Sonny is on the phone telling me you need to go out and tighten the tent. Arggggggggg I said a few choice words to all of them that i will not repeat and then went out into the storm to fix the @%* tent. After 30 minutes of trying to fix the tent the storm let up. :) We decided to try to get a fire started keep in mind everything is soaked. We also thought we had better try to make dinner while we had a break. We tried everything to start this fire. I thought for a brief moment i was going to lose it. I grabbed the can of Pam yes cooking pam and I sprayed the entire fire and everything in it. A coupel minutes later we had a roaring fire. We made dinner and took it in the tent to eat since everything was still wet. Sonny showed up at 9 and it had not rained yet. We all said our hello's and decided to hit the sack. Once we all snuggled in yes the rain started again. About 5 minutes later the tent started to leak. Argggggg. the girls were going to be soaked. It was raining so hard. Sonny went out to try to fix it. Hmmm did not work. After an hour he found a pole and held a part of the tent up and no more leaks. Buddy was a littel baby and had to sleep next to me. I could not move and oh yes I forgot the pump to our air mattress. It was a very long night. We woke up had breakfast and decided we had had enough. We packed up and decided to head home. We stopped to fish for a bit, but the wind was blowing to hard. Imagine that in Idaho. We came home and cleaned up and decided to go to Sonny's parents to cook our foil dinners and marshmellows. It was a ton more fun and not so wet. The next day we decided to go shooting for a bit. The kids had a ton of fun and I was able to get lots of fun pictures. It seemed like the day was going better. Sonny mentioned his head was hurting a bit so we decided to pack it up. Just before we left a felt a pain in my leg a sharp one. It really started to hurt. Sonny came over and lifted up my pant leg to find a nasty little red ant that decided to have lunch on my leg. I think i have had enough. I have never felt pain like that before. The girls were laughing so dang hard at me they have not had a ant bite before or they would not be laughing at me. I have to tell you 7 hours later and it still stings. By the time we got home we all had head aches so we ate lunch and decided it was time for some R&R. Wow what a weekend we had. I hope when he comes home in 2 weeks it will be a little better. Sonny said are you kidding me this is what memories are made of. I love that man.

Our baby
I should have posted this awhile ago. A few weeks ago Whit convinced us to get a new kitty. I caved and said yes. We have had a few mice so I thought it might help. So one night she came home with this kitty. We all debated on a name. Some how we decided on Skittles. She was so sweet the 1st 2 days we had her then I have no idea what happened. Chelsie did say that she fed her a couple of pixie sticks. Hmmm. Well all of a sudden Satan appeared. She is so hyper. She tries to climg walls, she climbs our wood banister, she attacks your feet in the middle of the night and she is so mean to our dog that the dog is scared of her and stays away. It never fails around 9:30 every night she gets a high and starts to flip out. She runs through the house in circles, attacks your feet and tries to climb the walls. It is so crazy. Her new name is now Spaz. Chloe loves to try to disipline her. She spanks her bottom all the time and tries to make her stay it is pretty cute.

Soccer
I have not done very good at being a Soccer mom. Syd begged me to sign her up for Soccer this year. I have to admit I hate Soccer and I know Syd pretty well and I know that she loves to tumble, not play Soccer. Well I decided to give it a chance and I signed her up. Her cousin was also on the team so I thought what the heck. I signed her up in March so I thought it was for Spring Soccer. That was my 1st mistake. It was summer Soccer. It did not start until June. Right in the middle of Baseball season and Syd was on 2 other cheer teams for the Summer. Then I found out that the games were on Tuesday nights at 7:15. I have YW's every Tuesday night. It has been quit the struggle. I have only made it to one of her games and after the only game I made it to she said mom I hate Soccer. :( I debated wether I shoudl shoot her or not. Well since she only had one game left I decided to let her live. This Tuesday is the last game :) and she informed me that this was the last year she would ever do Soccer :)
